Obvious inspirations/influences include: Philip Glass, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Yanni, Vangelis, George Winston, Raul di Blasio, Yann Tiersen, and Erik Satie... so if you like them, so do I. I don't like classical snobs and other lowminded chinstrokers. While "popular" isn't always "good", it can be. I get a hoot out of playing really repetitive piano music, then suddenly varying.
