<reviewbody>The voices of the narrators were so bad I could not even listen. I have wanted to read this story for a long time and thought audio would be great. The quality of the recordings was also very bad. I wish that Librivox would re-record this with someone like Karen Savage reading it. As they say JMHO!

Boy it was nice to see other people agreed with me on this.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Not everyone here is bad, most of the men do a fine job, but some are just utterly attrocious! The French girl reading is cringe worthy! Overacting, and irritating accent! I feel like she's spitting every time she's reading! And she reads about 8 times in the story! Best bet is to listen to only a few audio sections and read the rest on your own. That's why I did personally. Some of the audios, really just of two readers, are soooo utterly horrible.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Some of the readers on here are just, plainly, annoying to listen to. There's one – no offence, please – latina / spanish-speaking woman who makes no attempt to read outside of her deep accent. What I mean by that is that it makes it terribly, terribly difficult to understand because she cannot construct the "th" sound, and her diphthongs sound very Spanish. Honestly, I had to pick up the book around chapter 18 because some of the pronunciations were just that deplorable.

However, on the other hand: there are a few people (one man especially) who read quite well. One man uses inflection and changes his tone or different characters. Unfortunately, I believe that was only one chapter. Other than that, don't waste your bandwidth.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>It's nice and almost attractive to hear a foreigner reading of good literature. However, the speaker hasn't perfected English enough to be reading literature. Unfortunately, it's a labor to listen too.</reviewbody>
